There really is no activity log for my learning experience since I worked on it over time but mainly just trying to find what I should write about and then actually formatting it. My learning experience was very positive since I love making these kinds of things especially for use in the education field. I first researched infographics to get an idea of which one I wanted to make. I then found Canva.com and searched around for the infographic I wanted and then the format that best fit my idea. I decided that a bookmark would be perfect especially when it is about reading and picking the perfect book.  I soon filled in all of my information and added proper pictures and that was it! If wanted I would happily send the bookmark as a PDF Blogger wouldn't let me do so!

As a future educator I can see myself using both surveys and excel frequently. Surveys are a great way to ask 3rd graders their opinions while keeping their identity especially for the shy kids. They help share ideas and get a general consensus of the class without biases or intimidation. At a young age some students refuse to share their ideas since they may be intimidated by bullies in class or their friends who vote for a certain thing. Excel is a wonderful tool to condense info from surveys and to create spreadsheets for important things in class such as adding expenses for classroom tools/decorations or spreadsheets for parents involvement in parties or door decorating especially in elementary when these events still occur. Some of the most interesting topics that were classdojo, Pinterest, and edmodo. Classdojo was by far the most interesting topic I've seen in my classmates blogs. Its a wonderful program used to add and deduct points for working well in groups, on projects

I personally believe that a flipped classroom is a great idea, but, I think it is something very hard to bring into the classroom and begin to introduce it to the students. It limits the amount of time a teacher has in the classroom since no work can really be be sent home. Also, it can be hard since it requires that teachers use more ideas for activities rather then busy work. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRvmjjeZ9CA Open education is a great way for dedicated learners to continue to learn without paying but without receiving a grade or degree. This is also beneficial for teachers to use since they can use lessons that are open in their own classroom to help in their delivery of info for maybe a difficult topic or tricky subject to teach without certain materials. Also it could be beneficial for a student who wants to learn more outside of the classroom or need clarification on a subject. One website that is full of open lessons is  https://www.teacher.org/lesson-plans/   which

Adaptive technologies are used to support many different types of learners including special needs, foreign learners, and much more. They are wonderful for teachers since they help assist in teaching students and have them do it on their own. For example, text to speech tools are extremely helpful for students who struggle to read out loud or to pay attention to a book. Recorded books also helpful for students who struggle reading from a book but are great listeners. I've seen many students use touch screen in special needs programs because it assists with the use of their small Motor skills and they enjoy it much more then using a mouse. Some challenges I can see are the beginning process of teaching how to use this new technology and make the best use of it. I would use powerpoint to create by having my student make their own powerpoint on a certain subject for example learning the history of a certain number and how they see it in their every day life. I could do a lesson on t

My experience with twitter has been interesting to say the list. I love looking back and looking at the process of my tweets and how each reminds me of a memory but I have not posted 2 a week and I know I need to get on that. What I've learned from twitter is really how to use twitter for the purpose of my career rather then personal use. I realized that I should follow people who are in my field and tweet hashtags that go along with my field. Some benefits of twitter is finding out new information simply by scrolling through my feed and seeing posts from people such as FSU and the College of Education.  Some new skills I acquired from the Web page assignment was how to use weekly. I had always used the google sites to create my own website in high school and its completely different. For the majority of the time I was making my project I didn't realize I had to drag over the text button to create a text box rather then a whole new page. I also learned how to download imag

For this ILP I decided to test out Lynda.com since I had never heard of it before. I choose the tutorial that teaches you how to use Elearning storyboards since I had only done storyboards by hand to plan out videos or a story. I learned a lot in this short tutorial but I think it really helped me prepare to use it for when I become a teacher. These storyboards seem really helpful especially if I were to use it for my own students since they will be on the younger end. I also liked how these tutorials included considerations to show if Elearning storyboards will be useful in your own classroom. It also even shows how to download the app to use in order to make a storyboard. I finished the whole 40 min tutorial in one day so there isn't much of an activity log. The only evidence I have is a screen shot from when I completed the tutorial.

I decided to go back to my own 3rd grade teacher and look at his website. His name was Mr.Smith and he works at West Windsor Plainsboro Millstone River Middle School. When first looking at his website you can see his name and what room he is in, address of the school, his email, and the schools phone number, you can also see some of his favorite things, theatre and Star Wars. On the side you can see a welcome back letter, supply list, parent reminder sign up, the schedule, scholastic book orders, and lunch menus.  Link: wwp4-5.sharpschool.com I can envision myself using some Web 2.0 tools such as class dojo. I do service learning for my intro to ed class and I always see the teacher I observe use it and it's crazy to see how the students behave when reminded of the reports back to their parents. I think its great to keep in contact with the parents and to remind the students that they can risk their points if being distracting but can earn some if they're kind or on task
